Our collective brotherhood & sisterhood of Stronger Together Minnesota knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of coming together in the spirit of unity from all across the cities for the sake of Allah. For so many of the young men and women in our city, a space to laugh, to discuss, and to grow positively together in brotherhood is a rarity. We come together for our weekly halaqahs and as you walk in each Saturday you are greeted by mile-wide smiles, raucous laughter, and passionate (sometimes heated) discussion. We come together for our monthly events from setting sail across the Mississippi river on a charter boat or having barbecues and enjoying a variety of sports in the park and lastly, we embark on Islamic themed journeys across the country like our Dallas Retreat where we met and learned from some of the most prominent scholars of our time and enjoyed a variety of fun activities together. We are also committed to embarking on our annual spiritual journey to the holiest cities of Makkah and Madina for Umrah.
All of these efforts are lead by the hundreds of brothers and sisters who make up the program, week in and week out they sacrifice their time, wealth, and energy in the effort to create a more connected and vibrant community for the young men and women of our city. The bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood we built will power the movement for positive change that we want to create in our city.
